Saturday morning we drove to Willcox to visit the pumpkin patch! While I was living in Maine, every year my family went to the same place to pick out pumpkins, and I miss that tradition. So we started our own this year!
Carter was pleased to see Snoopy and Linus. “It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” is one of his favorite movies (year-round).
BIG pumpkin!
Carter had fallen asleep in the car, but he perked right up when he saw all the “pum-tins!”
We got tickets to go on the hayride out to the pumpkin patch. Here Carter is pointing at the wagon pulling up.
On the hayride! (“Wide, wide, wide!”)
The pumpkin patch!
Hmm…which one should I pick?
Daddy will help me decide!
I like this one!
Helping Daddy cut it from the vine!
Yay, we did it!
The perfect pumpkin!
Riding back with our group’s pumpkins!
Oh, and Mama came too!
What a great time!

It’s just not right that you have to do such a lovely fall tradition in the 80/90 degree Arizona weather…you should fly to Maine next year.
