My Day

6:32am

After hitting snooze several times, I finally roll out of bed and throw on some sweats. I’m ready for work! #danceteacher

6:50am

Enjoy my tree lights and a mug of hot apple cider while waiting for my mom to show up to watch the kids. P.S. Yes it’s warm enough here to have the door open…almost. I actually turned the heat on this morning for the first time this year.

7:00am

Driving to school with my husband

The high school at dawn. Headed inside… If you are not a regular reader, I am long-term subbing until February 1st. Otherwise I’m usually at home with my kids during the day.

Dance studio before it’s infested with full of students

10:00am

My students went to an assembly today, so I had some extra free time! This is my desk in my office.

1:00pm

Snuck into the show choir rehearsal (I do their choreography- my husband is their teacher/director) to take some photos!

2:30pm

Back home to see my kiddies for a few minutes…

2:50pm

Then off to job #2 with a quick pit stop. Bagels with cream cheese have been my go-to food lately, and yes I definitely drive out of my way to go to the DD that has a drive thru…

3:00pm

Job #2, at my private apartment office (I work for my dad. He and my mom got an apartment in town to stay at when they come to visit, and for me to use as an office.)

5:30pm

Drove home for dinner, picking up some desperately needed groceries on the way

Daniel insisted on taking a photo of all of us…mostly!

He also had already downloaded the finale of Amazing Race, knowing I’d want to watch it!

After a few more hours of job #2, I come home and take a candlelit bath, complete with bath fizzy!

And wrap up the day just as it began, with Christmas tree lights and hot apple cider!
