Hey everyone, I need your ideas! I’m planning a 12/12/12 party because, well because I want to!
Before you correct me, yes I know it happens once every hundred years. Michael Scott does not know that. And it’s only going to happen once in my lifetime, so it might as well be every billion years!
Anyway, this is the last of the three-digit dates (since, you know, there is no month 13), and I wanted to throw a party in celebration!
Now I need some ideas. I want everything to be “12” themed. I’m thinking zodiac, months of the year, dozens of things, etc.
I also am planning on playing Bunco because it takes 12 people, and because I want to play it!
Okay, you creative-party-planning people you, let me hear your ideas!

This is such a cute idea!!! I’m not a party planning pro at all, but…I love all your ideas! (I know, I’m zero help, right?)
I just realized that it will be the last three digit date. sad. would this be a party at your house or a blogging party?
Such a brilliant idea! I’m asking my husband right now and he can only come up with a dozen. Sorry..no help hear either.
Have fun planning.

Happy Holidays :)
Would love to hear your ideas! We have a group of four families who have been getting together on each of these once in a lifetime dates since the start – 01-01-01 we were together in Disney World – but since this in the middle of a work / school week we’ve decided to go with a progressive dinner [only three stops – not 12] and enjoy the evening together —

We are having a 12-12-12 party and we are having 12 people sing at our party. They will sing The Twelve Days of Christmas.
We are going to play 12 board games, and eat 12 smarties, I like the idea to sing 12 songs too.
We are starting the morning off with a dozen doughnuts – they better not eat them all! I was also thinking of making small meatballs, so everyone could get 12 mini meatballs, and maybe making small ice cream balls so everyone could get 12 of those too. I like the other ideas – thanks!
I was thinking of food items that you could do on this day and this is what I came up with a 12″ sandwich, and a 12 oz drink,
I asked my students to bring in 12 edible items they’ve put inside of a brown lunch bag. Then, I’m going to have them do like a Chinese gift exchange for fun. When done, they can eat or share the 12 items.
