I’ve had a few requests to update my blog, so here we go! My schedule is just going to get busier this winter, but I want to keep up with this blog anyway.
Here’s what’s been going on recently:
June:
We took a trip to San Diego and spent a few days on various beaches. Carter had fun playing in the sand and visiting an aquarium.
July:
Not many pictures from this month, but we did do an overnight trip to El Paso to see movies… So my cousin gave us a book of movie coupons for Christmas, but the nearest franchise of this particular cinema was in El Paso! Didn’t stop us- we went and saw two movies and got plenty of concessions with our coupons! Long story, but the same cousin had a gnome in her yard in Maine, which my mother kidnapped last time they were there, so we had to bring him along for some pictures.

August:
Carter turned 2 on August 29th, and he had a little birthday party with family and friends. Here he is with his church friend, Emi!
September:
Last week we had our ultrasound, and we found out that we are expecting a little girl! Going to be a big change, but we are excited. Here she is looking at us and waving! Lean your head to the left and you can see her eyes, nose, and mouth, and her hand up to the left of her head. I know, it’s a little creepy…
I will update more later, but here are some things I have coming up:
- Working with the St. David cheerleaders on a dance I choreographed for them, which they will hopefully perform for the first time next Friday at homecoming
- Directing a short version of Savior of the World for a tri-ward nativity event this Christmas
- Choreographing/helping direct two musicals for a charter school in Tucson for their after-school drama groups
- Singing in the Arizona Repertory Singers in Tucson throughout this school year
- Teaching voice lessons
- Going to Disneyland and A Day Out with Thomas in November
- Having a baby in February!!!
