How is your Christmas shopping coming along? Here’s how mine is going:
Haha, that’s right! I’m DONE! Everything is wrapped and under the tree, and Mama is kicking back with a hot apple cider and just waiting for Christmas to come.
Okay that’s not completely true. I still have to go shopping for stocking stuffers (but that’s way fun), and I need to find a gift for Carter’s teacher. Daniel is going to take Carter shopping to buy a gift for Vanessa and Harrison, and the bear that I ordered for Harrison ended up being really small, so I’m probably going to buy him another one (since it’s his “Santa” gift). Then I should probably get something (or have the kids make something) to go with our gift to Gramma and Grampa, and I need to buy the second half of the gifts for my brother and sister. I also will have some “construction” to do on Christmas Eve after the little ones are in bed, to get their “Santa” (definitely just accidentally typed Satan) gifts ready.
But yeah, mostly done!
Are you struggling to find a gift for someone? Have someone on your list that is impossible to shop for? Well let me introduce you to a site that might solve your problem.
^There it is again.
Uncommon Goods is the place to be, if you are in search of…well…something uncommon! From ray gun sculptures to post card gardens, if you can imagine it, they probably sell it! Check here for the hot products for Christmas!
Not only does Uncommon Goods sell really unique things, but they have a strong company mission that aims to support artists and designers. Half of their products are made by hand, and about a third of them incorporate recycled and/or upcycled materials!
Many of their products can be personalized- check those out here!
In my case, I was in search for a gift for my brother. He’s a 33-year-old bachelor, living alone, with more money than he needs, and with no discernible hobbies. Not an easy person to shop for! Before I show you what I chose for him, I think the best way to showcase Uncommon Goods is to just share with you photos of the various things you can find there. Here we go!
And that last one is the thing I chose to get for my brother! Pretty sure he doesn’t read this blog… anyway, I got my sister something in the same category (she might read this), so it was perfect. He likes kind of weird things, and the Face Mug is…kind of weird.
But come on, who doesn’t want to drink out of a face?! And bonus, he keeps your cookies safe so… Clearly an awesome buy!
Are you primarily shopping for women? Uncommon Goods has a great selection of gifts for women- check those out here!
So if you are looking for a gift that is truly unique, make sure to give Uncommon Goods a visit! You might find just what you need!
