Shaping Up For Summer: The 150s

by Megan
shaping up for summer

Let’s just start off with this week’s weigh-in:

159.6!!!

Holy 150s, Batman! I actually surpassed my April goal. The last time I was in the 150s was at the beginning of 2009.

Now, this weigh-in was from a few days ago, after yet another day of being sick and not eating anything, so I know I’ve gained back a couple of pounds, but I will lose them again!

Super excited for the new month. Super excited to get back into and stay in the 150s! My goal for the end of May is 155. I know that will be a real challenge, but I also know that it is totally doable!

Oh hai, is that a trick mirror, or did I lose 6 POUNDS?!

I am down a total of 9 pounds since starting this link-up, at the beginning of February. I’d say that’s a pretty decent loss for a three month period. Slow and steady, right?

I love that I weigh less than I have in the past 5 years. It can be discouraging to be at the beginning of your weight loss journey and have so far to go, and it is so motivating to be getting closer and closer to my goals. It makes me want it so much more!

I feel amazing. I want to chase this feeling and push even harder. This month I will hit the gym hard, I will run in the evenings, and I will rock the end of this challenge!

How was your week? Did you meet your fitness goals? Link up and let me know!

Slow and steady is absolutely the best way to go and the best chance of keeping the weight off long-term. Huge congratulations on your progress thus far, and I just KNOW you’ll kick a$$ on this month’s goal!!
