This week I wrote a post about how I’m trying to set a good example by exercising with my kids!
Last month I set a goal to lose 10 pounds, and I did it! This month my goal is 8 pounds, and I’ve lost 7 so far, with just 2 days to go! At least this week I got in my workouts- last week…not so much! I even went out running twice this week! Want to know the last time I went running? Pretty sure it was the half marathon I ran last August (like 2012 “last August”).

Jennifer gave some great tips on how to avoid overindulging in Halloween candy. I especially love the tip to buy candy you don’t like. I don’t like candy with nuts, so that’s what I should buy. She also mentioned giving out something other than candy. Well, you can buy glow stick bracelets at Michael’s (and probably other places too) for just a dollar or two for a whole bunch, and kids LOVE THEM!

I did go read the Halloween Candy post … tis the season. In some ways I love the smaller size, individually wrapped candies, so I can indulge with a limited portion – but it IS so easy to lose all control!
