I love living in this age where technology is advancing at the speed of light. So many possibilities are right around the corner, and I’m excited to see what life is like, just a few years from now.
Last month I attended Mom 2.0 Summit in California, an awesome blog conference that Best Buy happened to be sponsoring. Their suite showcased several of their large and small appliances that are utilizing the latest technology to make home life easier!
The hit of the suite, no doubt, was the amazing fridge on display! The Samsung Family Hub Refrigerator includes a touchscreen which organizes grocery lists and family activities, and you can even order groceries from it!
The Samsung washer/dryer combination is another thing I’d love to have in my house! The washer includes a built-in sink where you can pre-treat your stained clothing before washing.
One of the small appliances that caught my eye was the Perfect Bake Pro. It uses a scale and an app and tells you exactly how much of which ingredients to use, to bake a perfect delicious treat!
And what do you know- I ended up winning the small appliance prize package! Originally I thought that meant I had won just one of the small appliances but… I won all of them!
One of my goals is to be better in the kitchen. Cooking is not one of my strengths, so I need all the help I can get! I’m really excited about the Perfect Bake Pro, the Vitamix (apparently this is like the god of blenders), and the KitchenAid attachment that will easily cut up fruits and veggies to add to our family meals.
The “smart home” is quickly becoming a reality, and I love how these kinds of appliances make my life a little easier. And let’s admit it, they just look cool too!
