Shaping Up For Summer: The End

shaping up for summer

Well my friends, we’ve reached the end of Shaping Up For Summer! Thanks so much to those of you who have linked-up, commented, and/or participated in some way. It’s so much better when you have people cheering you on, and I’m glad you joined me.

During this Shaping Up For Summer challenge, I lost 10 pounds and went from a size 14 to a size 10! I’m sure there were measurement changes as well, but I didn’t keep very good records. I also turned 30, and hey that’s supposed to be your peak, right…? I’m looking forward to an awesome decade!

I’m not at my goal weight yet, but I have lost 60 pounds in the past 10 months, and so now every time I see a picture of myself I’m like, “aw yeah, looking good!”

This is definitely not the end of my weight loss journey, as I’m still about 21 pounds away from my first goal, and 34 from my ultimate goal. I’m about a year away from when I’m going to want to start thinking about having another (last) baby, so I think that’s a fair amount of time to reach those goals before I start packing the pounds back on (for a good reason)!

Can it be done? Sure it can! One challenge over, and a new one begins!

Tell me how you’re doing with your fitness goals!

This month is my challenge to lose weight. I’m sick of ppl asking if I’m preggo. NO, I am not. And that’s just not a nice question to ask someone anyway.

Whaaa? Who asks if someone is pregnant? The baby has to be halfway out before I’m willing to make a comment about someone being pregnant!!
