A few weeks ago the kids and I stopped in at Walmart early in the morning. Right up at the front were all the school supplies, neatly lined up, just ready to be purchased for the first day of school. And NOBODY was there. It was so quiet and peaceful.
This post was sponsored by Walmart and Kimberly Clark.
We weren’t there to buy school supplies that day, but I made a mental note to come back early another morning, and soon, before the mad rush. Well we did end up doing Carter’s school shopping- not as early in the day as I would have liked, but we got it all done before things got crazy, and we got it all done at Walmart.
It definitely saved me time and sanity to be able to do all of Carter’s school supply shopping in one place, at one time! We loaded up the cart and headed home so I could go crazy with my new label maker!
While we were there, we took the opportunity to grab a few things for the house- some paper towels and bath tissue. We’ll be set with those for awhile!
If you’re a box top collector, you’ll love the fact that some of the Kimberly Clark products are including double box tops on some of their products. So while you’re shopping for supplies, you can also stock up on some household essentials, and score the double box tops!
Look for the extra box tops on products from Kleenex (3 pack bundle), Scott (bath tissue and paper towels), and Viva (paper towels).
School supply shopping can be stressful, but not if you do “Back to School Like a Boss” and use my tips:
- 1. Go early in the summer.
- 2. Go early in the day.
- 3. Go to Walmart and find everything in one place!
What are your school supply shopping tips?

Yes! Such great tips! A really good idea to go early in the summer so you can get all the supplies you need! Plus, you don’t have to fight anyone else for the things you want! (:
