Quick Cardio Workout At Home

You don’t need a gym to work out. You don’t even need to leave the house! You can reach your fitness goals right in your very own living room, which is why I started my “Workout At Home” series, sharing simple fitness routines for busy moms!

There are lots of different ways you can get in quick mom workouts at home! Today I’m sharing what I call The Cardio Countdown, a fast-paced, heart pumping workout you can do in just 20 minutes in the morning. You can even do it in your pjs!

You CAN fit in fitness, and you can do it without leaving your home, and with the minimum of fitness equipment. The most important thing is being consistent!

This quick cardio workout can be done in the comfort of your living room, can burn up to three hundred calories, and doesn’t cost you a thing. Try it first thing in the morning to get your heart pumping and energize you for the day!

Quick Cardio Workout at Home

Start by doing the following moves 10 times each:

  • Jumping Jacks
  • Push Ups
  • Crunches
  • Mountain Climbers
  • Squats

Then do a 30 second plank hold.

Once you finish, start again from the beginning, this time only doing 9 counts of each exercise. For example, your next set will be 9 jumping jacks, 9 push ups and so on, each set ending with a 30 second plank.

You will continue to repeat the set until you get to 1 count of each exercise. That’s it!
