You’ve probably heard people talking about the “pink drink.” They are referring to Plexus Slim, a new weight-loss product which consists of a drink mix that you take with water once a day, as well as an accelerator pill that is supposed to quicken your results. See my updated 2014 review of Plexus Slim here.
I was sent a 7-day trial pack from the lovely Jenna, to test out and report my results. That’s probably what you want to hear about, so let’s get to it.
First of all, on day one, after I had my Plexus drink in the morning, I was not hungry all day. I ate here and there because I intellectually know that I enjoy eating, but I didn’t feel like I needed to eat at all. Two days later, I had lost four pounds and reached my lowest weight since having the baby, which is within ten pounds of the lowest weight I got to in between my second and third babies. I also worked out pretty hard and ate well those two days.
Of course as soon as I had a little success, I immediately celebrated by having a cheat day or two.
The rest of the week was not my best. I had high hopes but then pizza intervened. Twice. Possibly three times. But at the end of my 7-day Plexus Slim trial, I had maintained that weight loss.
Final analysis: If you are working out and eating right, Plexus Slim may help you lose more, and if you are not trying to lose weight, then it may help you maintain. I only say “may” because everyone is different and our bodies react to things differently.
Also, Plexus Slim is really tasty and helped me get in my water quota for the day!
If you are interested in learning more, or trying it out for yourself, check out Jenna’s Facebook page, The Pretty in Pink Drink Lady.
If you are ready to order, you can do that on Jenna’s Plexus Slim website here. I love that options for ordering include a 3-day or 7-day trial pack, so you can try it out for yourself before committing to a 30-day supply. The 7-day trial is only $29.95, and 3-day trial is $11.99!
