No Kid Hungry at Denny’s

In the midst of all of our getting-back-from-vacationing and meet-the-teachering and back-to-schooling, the family and I managed to get away for a night of food and fun with the Phoenix Denny’s Brand Ambassadors and their families (also known as #DennysDiners)! As a brand ambassador, I have been compensated to share information about Denny’s and their exciting local and national programs.

We got to have a meal with our families, which was so delicious! I love all the options that Denny’s has, for kids and adults. Here’s Carter, showing me his choice:

I didn’t get many photos because Harry was unusually fussy that night during dinner, but the food was outstanding! We got the Smothered Cheese Fries, which were so delicious, and then I got the Bacon Avocado Cheeseburger for my meal. Anything with avocado is okay by me!

After dinner, we met with the Denny’s PR reps, to learn all about the exciting promotions that Denny’s has in the works. One partnership, which Denny’s formally announced this week, is with No Kid Hungry, an organization dedicated to helping end childhood hunger.

This is not a new partnership. In fact, over the past three years, Denny’s has given over 1.4 million dollars to the cause, thanks to their patrons’ donations.

And it’s a pretty sweet deal for all involved… From now until October 31st, when you donate $3 at Denny’s, you will receive $9 worth of coupons for future visits. Another option is to donate online, after which you’ll be given a coupon for $5 off your next $20 purchase at Denny’s.

As you can see, my kids are big supporters of No Kid Hungry…

As we were leaving our Denny’s Diners party, Denny’s provided us with some parting Strawberry Pancake Puppies!

Daniel and I ate these (with accompanying cream cheese frosting) all the way back home, and even had enough to save a few for breakfast the next day! I’m already itching to go back to Denny’s for more!

There’s no reason for children to be hungry, and it takes very little to make a very big difference!
