May Wrap-up and June Goals!

New month = new goals.

In May, I had the following goals, which I wrote about here:

Get to 100 GFC, Facebook, and Hellocotton followers
Get to 600 “likes” on Megan’s Cents of Style
Read further in Jesus the Christ
Lose 5 pounds

I did pretty well…

I went from 85 to 160 GFC followers, 88 to 145 Facebook “likes,” and 64 to 106 Hellocotton followers.
I hit 602 “likes” on my Megan’s Cents of Style Facebook page.
I read more, but not as much as I wanted, in Jesus the Christ, and I didn’t give in and start reading another book.

And,

I lost that five pounds!

I was hoping to lose even more than that, but I’m happy that I reached my goal. And let me tell you, I worked my butt off for those five pounds. It wasn’t like I started eating better and exercising harder and five pounds of water weight dropped right off. Oh no. I fought for each and every ounce that I lost. I guess it’s better that way. More likely to stick hopefully!

ONWARDS!

Here are my June goals:

*Make buttons! I’m always having to provide different sizes for ads, and I’m always in a rush, so I just resize a button I already have and send it on its way, even if it doesn’t look that great. I want to make at least four buttons of various sizes and orientations that look great!

*Lose 9 pounds. I know that’s going to be hard, but might as well set the bar high, right? Plus, the 5 I lost put me in a new “tens” digit (sorry, not telling), and another 9 would put me in the next “tens” digit, which would be very nice!

*Read more in Jesus the Christ. This book is a beast.

*Get my right split back. Tired of not being as flexible as I used to be. The stretching will also be good for my poor legs, since I start my half-marathon training next week!

I. REALLY need to WRITE down my goals as well! I’m a list maker with everything else I should be with this too! Good for you on your weight loss! I’m working on losing the 5 lbs I gained BACK! Ugh! Then finish up the 12ish lbs of baby weight. This time around it is so much harder!

Congratulations! I redid my buttons not too long ago for that same reason. It’s so nice to have them already to go. Good Luck!

Congratulations! Sounds like you did a great job in meeting your goals. I am happy to say that over the weekend I got a photo of the bracelet set I won put on my Pinterest board. oooh that’s a great idea to make monthly goals. maybe I’ll make a promise myself to get out of my sweats at least 5 days a week ;)
