Things are busy as usual around here, but it feels like we are in a pretty good routine. The house is clean. I’m crossing things off my blog “to do” list. I’m basically ready for Vanessa’s birthday party, over a week in advance (holla back, store-bought).
And OH YEAH, we paid off our debt. What now? Yes, we are credit card debt free. Just last week we turned the corner from putting surplus money toward paying off debt to putting that surplus money into our savings account, and it’s amazing. Hello, 30 Before 30 #2!
In just three weeks, we’ll be traveling to California for two show choir competitions and Disneyland! I’ll be skipping the bus this time and driving out with Harrison. Never too young for a road trip with Mom!
Speaking of Harrison, I know a baby who is about to get his teeth any day, and who is showing less and less interest in nursing. His name is Harrison. You probably figured that out. He’s growing up, but I still love him.
Oh, and I may have gotten a part in a play. No, okay, I did. It’s really not a big deal, but I’m excited that after living here for over a year and a half, I’m finally going to get to know the local theatre people and perhaps start an ongoing involvement with the local theatre company. That would be cool. Of course I got involved at the same time that Daniel is about to start after school rehearsals for the musical at his school, but we’ll make it work!
So the spring is going to fly by in a whirlwind of trips, shows, blurry photos, baby snuggles, Kindergarten events (like graduation, *TEARS*), lots of love, and a little bit of Windex.
Life is full. Life is happy. I hope yours is too.
