Having Fun

by Megan

What have I been up to? Well, with three kids, a part-time job, and a blog, it doesn’t take much to keep this life busy! But one of my words of the year is “FUN” so we’ve been making time for that lately!

A few weekends ago, Daniel and I ran The Color Run in Tempe!

My parents came along to watch the kids, and now my mom wants to run/walk a color run. So she and I will be doing the Color Fun Fest in Phoenix in a few weeks!

Then last weekend, we took the kids to Main Event in Tempe, for some pizza, bowling, and arcade fun!

I went there resigned to using bumpers for bowling, but they have them automated so that they only come up when certain people are bowling! So we had them set to go up for the kids and down for us. I started off with three spares in a row, and then, well, it all went downhill from there. But I still won!

Sorry, kids. Sorry Mom is so AWESOME!

I literally won at everything. Bowling, DDR, air hockey, FOUR WAY AIR HOCKEY (yes, including against my poor two-year-old), whack-a-light, and even motorcycle racing!

I’m kind of good at games. And very competitive.

So what’s up next? Well, Vanessa’s birthday is on the 18th so I have a whole week planned, full of exciting birthday fun! Then the second weekend of March we’ll be headed to California for the show choir competitions and Disneyland! We are going to Disneyland for one day with the choir, and then I’ll be staying there with Harrison to spend two more days at the parks with my parents, who are bringing Carter and Vanessa! Excited! FUN!
