Harry’s 1st Birthday

by Megan

Happy 1st birthday to my favorite little guy, Harrison!

This past year with you has been full of joy! You have brought so much happiness to our family, and we wouldn’t be complete without you!

You are such a fun little guy, always happy to be around people. You love to play with toys, go for rides in your stroller, visit Gramma and Grampa’s house, and watch your big brother and sister do everything they do!

So of course we had to do a cake smash photo shoot, just like we did with Carter and Vanessa! You loved it! After being a perfect baby model for your clothed photos, we stripped you down and put a cake in front of you! You started slowly, glancing at us to make sure it was okay. Then you went for it!

Then we celebrated with a beach ball themed 1st birthday party! I got the birthday banner from Etsy, and Daddy and I brought KFC for dinner, but Gramma went all out with everything else, making sure your party was one to remember!

It sure was a special day, celebrating you! Everyone had fun and ate lots of yummy food!

After the food it was time for the presents!

You got some nice presents, perfect for a little boy, and you wanted to play with them right away! Little cars, board books, a driving toy for the car (hope it entertains you for 42 hours!), and a big bus with Mega Bloks!

After presents it was time for cupcakes and ice cream! Your brother and sister enjoyed them too! You got a little messy, but that’s okay, it’s your birthday!

Everyone who meets you just thinks you are the cutest, sweetest baby, and Mom and Dad have to agree!

Aww! I wish we could have been there! I can’t stand his cuteness. Dial that down, kid! Kiss his cheeks for me.
