When we decided to move to Surprise, a little over a year ago, we had one day when we were able to come up and find a place to move into (4 days later). It was getting late in the day, and all we had seen were apartments that just weren’t going to work for us. We finally hooked up with a realtor who said he had only two houses that were a possibility, and one was too far away from Daniel’s new job. So we drove over to Evening Star Trail.
The house was little, but it would be perfect for us, for our first year. We knew we wanted to have a third baby, but we could move into a larger home after a year, and we wouldn’t have any more than three months with five of us in that house.
So four days later we moved in, and we spent a year of our lives in that home.
Carter had his fourth birthday there.
Vanessa had her second.
We made lots of trips to the nearby playground.
Carter learned to ride a bike in the road in front of our house.
Arguments were had, hugs were given, pizzas were burned, and love was present.
And just days before we moved, Harrison was brought home to that house.
Evening Star, you were good to us, and we were grateful for you! Thanks for being home to the Tenneys for one really great year.

Really just the one pizza…
Evening star sounds like it will be a very fond memory.
