It only takes two ingredients: grapes and gelatin mix (JELL-O or generic brand; we used sugar-free Lime and Strawberry). You’ll also need a pie plate (or regular plate) and some water.

Cute helpers is a plus.

Here are the steps:

Step 1:
Pour out some of the gelatin mix onto the pie plate, about 1/4 to 1/3 of the package.

step 1

Step 2:
Gently shake the pie pan to spread out the gelatin mix.

step 2

Step 3:
Separate your grapes from the vine and rinse them with water. Do not dry them.

Step 4:
Take one handful of grapes at a time and put them on the gelatin mix on the pie plate. Gently shake the pie plate so the grapes get coated in the mix.

step 4(2)

Step 5:
Put the coated grapes in a bowl or a plastic bag and repeat step 4 until all the grapes are coated.

step 5

Step 6:
Store the finished glitter grapes in the fridge until they are cold. The colder they are, the more delicious!

We used green grapes with green and red gelatin, to make Christmas colors, but you can use any colors you want. The whole process took us less than ten minutes, making it the perfect rainy day or after school activity for restless kiddos!

Enjoy!

This is so fun! I think I’ll have to pin and try with my daughter. She loves grapes and the sparkle and texture will be perfect. Thanks for sharing!
