If you’ve ever been in the process of losing weight, you know that it can fluctuate, or you can even straight up gain back some of the pounds you worked hard to lose. Well, I knew that it would be hard to maintain the loss I had when I literally ate nothing for several days due to being sick. Sure enough, this week’s weigh in was 163.0.
Honestly, I’m not upset about that at all. It’s only 3 pounds up from my lowest, which was hit after being sick. Also I have no doubt that I can get back there and soon.
I’ve taken several weeks off from exercising, and I went back to the gym this morning and did a 45 minute full body strength training workout. It felt fantastic…and difficult! I’m definitely going to feel that one in the morning!
My goal for the end of May (from my 15 Pound Challenge) was 155. I will still shoot for that, but right now my aim is just to get back into the 150s and stay there, until I get into the 140s!
The next two weeks will be very full- with concerts, show choir auditions, school parties, a trip to California, Kindergarten graduation, high school graduation activities, my birthday, and a Memorial Day weekend family visit. I will be hitting the gym as often as I can, and doing my best to avoid the drive thru!
Only 3 weeks left for Shaping Up For Summer! How is June looking for you? Will you be wearing a swim suit? Buying a new, smaller one?!
Link up and tell me how you’re doing with your fitness goals!

You have such a great perspective! You’re going to reach your goal for sure! Don’t let the drive thru suck you in ;)
It’s always nice to lose while you’re sick, but it sucks when it comes back once you begin to eat normally again. :( You look great by the way!
