I was really hoping to have some great news to share on this third post about our TTC journey, but as of today I do not. And I’m starting to get a little discouraged.
Trust me, I do not pretend to understand the pain of infertility. Whether you have children already or not, I can imagine the sadness and frustration that you may feel if you are unsuccessful when trying to conceive. After another month of “not pregnant” on the test strip, I felt just smidgen of that disappointment, and my heart goes out to those who have felt it much stronger.
However, I’m still feeling positive, and as I’m nearing the end of another cycle, I’m very hopeful that this was the one!
Our TTC story is being sponsored by Astroglide, to introduce their new product, Astroglide TTC Trying To Conceive™. Astroglide TTC™ is specially formulated for couples who are trying to conceive. To be successful, it is vital to provide an environment where sperm has a chance of survival, and Astroglide TTC™ supports fertility with adjusted pH levels.
Astroglide TTC™ has a retail price of $12.99, the best value compared to any competitor, and it comes in pre-filled applicators so it is easy to use and less messy because you don’t have to fill them yourself.
This is the first time I’ve been so specific about when I wanted to have a baby. But when you want four, the timeline gets clearer each time you have one, and I’ve had three! I was shooting for March or April, because I’d rather avoid the summer! Also, the five of us all have different birth months, and I thought it would be nice to have a sixth different month.
But, if we were successful this month, it would be birthday baby for me! My birthday is May 23rd, and I would be due May 27th. I’m warming up to that idea. I will be 32 then, which means I would be 50 when my last little one graduates from high school. That also happens to be about the time my husband thinks he could retire, so it will be travelin’ time for us old folks!
Yes, I think about these things. My husband asked if I was going to name our baby Excel. Yeah…do not tempt me.
In my first post, I talked about our timing and how we had our first three kids pretty much exactly when we wanted to. My second post shared how I announced my first three pregnancies to my husband.
Today is day 9 of “Baby Steps to a Better You,” so for my third TTC post I’m issuing a challenge.
Today’s challenge is to find someone who is down and lift them up. Maybe you know someone who is TTC and could use some extra love. Or maybe you have a friend with a newborn who could use an hour to herself. Identify your target and hit them with kindness! I promise it will make their day, you will feel amazing, and your good deed will come back to you!
