When I drive into Phoenix from Surprise, I love to make a stop at the Fresh & Easy market. This article is sponsored by Fresh & Easy, which is located in California, Arizona, and Nevada.
Usually grocery shopping is a chore, but at the Fresh & Easy, it’s a pleasure. Aisle after aisle of beautifully packaged products entice me from the shelves! I don’t know if there is another house brand out there that puts as much care and thought into their packaging and presentation as the fresh&easy brand. I wanted to see, touch, and taste everything I saw!
This time around I brought the whole family, and we had a challenge: spend $20 for three meals! I told my husband that he got to choose a meal, the two oldest kids got to choose a meal, and I would choose the last one.
The kids needed a little guidance, but Daniel helped them pick out some dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets and broccoli. More on that later!
While Daniel took Carter to pick out their ingredients, Vanessa and Harrison and I perused the fresh&easy brand salad dressings. I ended up choosing the fresh&easy baked potato chowder and rolls for my meal, and Daniel grabbed a package of spaghetti and sauce.
I love how Fresh & Easy has wide, brightly-lit aisles and a strong commitment to cleanliness! The stores are smaller yet smarter, as they contain everything that you need and none of the stuff you don’t! They have all self-checkouts, but the employees are right there to help. When I was done scanning all my purchases and paying, my groceries were already bagged up and ready to go!
As for the challenge, we just went over the $20, but the chicken nuggets lasted for two meals!
That evening, after our shopping trip, we had the dinosaur nuggets and broccoli for dinner. A long time ago, Daniel told Carter a story about a baby dinosaur who ate tiny trees, and Carter has loved broccoli ever since! The kids loved “feeding” their broccoli to their dinosaur nuggets!
The Fresh & Easy market has tons of options! If you are a talented chef (unlike me!), you’ll love their selection of meats and spices. Non-chefs (hi!) looking for a quick dinner idea will love their variety of frozen meals. Busy moms will appreciate the fantastic supply of fresh, ready-to-eat meals! And if you’re gluten-free, check out their section just for you!
If you’re looking for a place to find quick, easy, healthy, and inexpensive meals for your family, look no further than your local Fresh & Easy, where grocery shopping is a pleasure, not a chore!
