Fashion is No nonsense

by Megan

I have never been very adventurous when it comes to clothes. The outfits you see on here are as inventive as I get, but it’s usually jeans and t-shirts around these parts (pun intended)! Honestly, after my 1980s childhood, my hippie phase in middle school, and my current cycle of pregnancies and running after small children, it’s a miracle when I manage to look presentable on any given day!

But sometimes it’s fun to play with pieces that you may consider outside of your comfort zone. That’s why I was excited when I received these No nonsense tights and leggings to try out and style!

First, they sent me these gray corduroy leggings. My first thought was, “These are so soft and comfy!” My next thought was, “What do I pair them with?!” I decided they needed to go with something loud and colorful- enter this cardigan set and flats:

What do you think? Would you wear gray corduroy leggings? I was intimidated at first, but now I want to see what else I can pair with them! I also think that I’m too comfy to switch to the tights, but I guess I should show you those too!

Okay, so No nonsense also sent me a pair of black patterned tights. These I was really excited about because I’m totally comfortable wearing black tights, but these added a little something interesting, with the floral pattern.

What a perfect way to add a little flair to a church or work outfit! These tights were also really comfortable, and I could definitely wear them all day.

It’s so true that when you feel good about how you look, you feel good all over! As a mom, dance teacher, and being pregnant in my first trimester, I can’t say I’ve worn much other than sweats recently, but I always feel better when I put some effort into what I wear!

I’m so not a fashion risk taker either. I basically live in jeans, stripes, scarves and cardigans; that being said those leggings look mighty comfy and slimming. xo

I’m a jean girl through and through…But I do like to dress up on occasion but even then I don’t wear tights or leggings. There is always a first time though :)

Love both looks! And those leggings should come in handy during pregnancy! ;) I think I spent my entire pregnancy (five years ago) in leggings. ;) So comfy. ;)

Both outfits are really cute! I love patterned tights, especially wearing them with my boots in the winter. I was like you with my first set of leggings….a little unsure. Once I realized it felt like wearing jammies, I was hooked. Thanks for sharing~Looking good!
