I’m probably lounging on the beach in Maine right now, but I lined up a great guest post from my blogging bestie Kate, of Songs Kate Sang. Today she is sharing a fun tip on how to display your website images easily and beautifully, with a little site called BlogStomp!
I met Kate early last year, when she took photos of my kiddos. And let me tell you, if there is anyone to take photography tips from, it’s Kate Eschbach!
So for those of us who blog, we know how tedious photo editing can be. But we want our photos to look beautiful, so we take the time. Today Kate is going to share a little shortcut that she uses, to almost instantly create gorgeous images for her blog.
Enough from me, here is Kate!
Do you ever see something on a blog and wonder how they do it?
I’m gonna share a little secret with you today and it’s called BlogStomp.
I use it for uploading a group of images that I am going to use on the web. BlogStomp resizes the image for the internet and gives you tons of collage options – vertical, square, and horizontal!
If you’ve been researching social media and what each platform likes, then you know, each one likes a different shape – Pinterest users love long, vertical images, etc.
It’s quick and easy to import and export your photos, and BlogStomp simplifies the process of photo editing by resizing and optimizing your images for use on the web.
The app will create layouts, displaying your images in what it thinks to be the best way. Don’t like it? Just hit the “Mix It Up” button, and BlogStomp will try again and display a new option!
This isn’t all it can do – it can frame, adjust sharpness, and watermark, giving your photo the final touches it needs!
And then, BlogStomp allows you to post your images to Twitter, Facebook, and your blog directly from the app!
Have a great time playing around with it!
What are your must-have blogging/photography tools?
