Well, at least I’m seeing some payoff! This morning I weighed the lowest I have since before getting pregnant with Vanessa. I’m a couple of pounds below my prepregnancy weight, but still have a long way to go!
Seeing results on the scale is a major motivator! It makes me want to do even better today so that those numbers will continue to go down. I know if I celebrate the loss with food, the numbers will be higher tomorrow!
This weekend will be the real test, since we’re spending two full days in Tucson, and at my parents’ house which is usually full of soda and snacks. Those cokes stare me in the face when I open the fridge door, just daring me to drink them! I already spent one successful day there, (day 2), and I can’t quit now.
I’m planning out our meals ahead of time so that we are eating out as little as possible. Tonight we’re going to have an early dinner here before we leave, then tomorrow we’re going to have Korean food for lunch (way healthier than any other “eat out” option!), probably get something for dinner from a deli, and then Sunday lunch (and both breakfasts) will be at my parents’ house. I know that if I didn’t plan this ahead of time, it would be cheeseburger after cheeseburger!
