I wanted a soda so badly this afternoon. But I did not cave! It helps that I didn’t have any in the house to tempt myself with.
Plus, I know that Daniel is super proud of me when I complete a goal I’ve committed to, and he would be disappointed if I gave up. Accountability!
I definitely crave junk in the mid-afternoon (and other times too, but that is usually when I hit a wall). I start most days attempting to be as productive as possible, which often means that by mid-afternoon I’ve worn myself out, and I’m looking for a quick pick-me-up.
I know that eating well and eliminating some of these unhealthy habits from my life will help my mood a ton, and if I’m eating well 90% of the time, then there will be nothing wrong with having a small treat here and there!
