Couch to 5K

I’ve done it before, and I’m doing it again. My level of fitness has just been so low since having babies that I need to start back at the beginning. I think it’s a good idea. There just isn’t any way I could go out and run for an hour straight right now.

But I truly enjoy running, which is a blessing! Tonight when I went out I hit that point where you feel like you could run forever, so I ran through a walk interval.

I’m using the 5K Runner app, which I like a lot. It lets me listen to my own music while I run, and the voice cues are very pleasing! Every few runs it gives you a badge to, I guess, feel good about yourself. I don’t care too much about that, but it’s cute.

I finished the first two weeks tonight, and I’m hoping to finish the program before the end of December. That way I can start January with a jump start on my new year of better health!
