One more week until the big day! I’m so excited. I am a “gifter.” I can’t wait to see my kids get their presents on Christmas morning. Today I thought I’d share what they are getting!
Carter, my 5-year-old, has been consistent in asking “Santa” for a Hot Wheels set, so he is getting this, from the big man:
Looks like an awesome track, and it includes a stand for an iPad, because it integrates with an app. He will love that! His brother and sister got him a pack of 9 Hot Wheels cars to go with it. He’s also getting two Hot Wheels books, which are level one readers, so he can read them to me!
One of his other presents is the Magic School Bus Chemistry Lab:
I know he’s going to love this, and it will provide hours of fun! He will love the bus, which is much bigger and sturdier than I expected it to be!
Carter and Vanessa are both getting Fisher-Price Travel Doodlers, which I know will come in handy on our summer road trip!
Vanessa, my almost 3-year-old, has the set of Fisher-Price Little People Disney Princesses, so “Santa” is bringing her the castle they go with! She will love this!
She’s also getting this Doc McStuffins doctor kit, which I know she will love, because she watches the show and regularly tries to give me checkups with a few older doctor toys we have that are falling apart.
She’s also getting this Cinderella dress, along with a matching tiara and dress-up shoes. She is always wrapping her blanket around herself and pretending to be a princess, so now she can really dress up like one!
Harrison, my 6-month-old, already got his big gift, which was an activity bouncer, but “Santa” will still bring him a teddy bear. He’s also getting a baby book (because mom needs to get on top of that!), some plastic links, and this book:
It’s a big, soft book with flaps that open to show different animals hiding. He’s really into grabbing everything these days, so this is perfect for him!
The older two kids are also getting sleeping bags, LEGOs, pillow pets, and a few other things from Gramma and Grampa. And Santa (aka Gramma and Grampa) is also bringing them this IKEA kitchen set, along with a couple of Melissa and Doug food sets.
I can’t wait- just a few more days! I love staying up late on Christmas Eve and getting everything ready for the morning. Filling the stockings, putting out Santa gifts, and then just sitting on the couch with just the tree lights on, picturing the kids’ faces in the morning.
Just 7 more sleeps!
