Carter’s 5th Birthday

by Megan

Carter turned 5 last Thursday, and we celebrated all day long!

In the afternoon, my mom and I took chocolate chip cookies into Carter’s classroom. It was SO cute to go in and see where he sits, and to meet his friends.

We passed out all the cookies and juice boxes, and the teacher had Carter stand at the front of the room with his birthday crown. He got to take the first bite, and gave a thumbs up to tell everyone else to start eating!

When we were leaving, my mom knelt down to give Carter a hug, and then she was bombarded by three or four other Kindergarteners who wanted to give her hugs! There were also a lot of “thank yous” and “these are good!” Very polite little ones!

In the evening, we celebrated with a small family party. It was Phineas and Ferb-themed, since that is all Carter is concerned about these days!

Here are some pics from the party:

Happy birthday, Carter!
