At the end of a blustery winter day, it’s nice to change into something comfortable, put on a favorite movie, and enjoy a warm meal at home.
…On the other hand, it’s also nice to head out to a restaurant to let someone else do the cooking and enjoy time out with friends and family! I’m always up for a meal out, and this past weekend I got the chance to head to Denny’s with some of my favorite ladies!
We were visiting Daniel’s family for Christmas, and I decided to treat the girls to lunch at Denny’s. I’m a Denny’s ambassador, and Denny’s has sponsored this post so I can share with you some of their awesome promotions and limited-time menus.
We had a really fun time visiting. The food was outstanding, and the company was lovely!
My mother-in-law noticed and commented that she had her oldest and youngest grandchildren with us, so we had to get a picture! Ali (grandchild #1) is 19, and Melody (grandchild #18!) is almost 4 months!
If you have a large family like ours, you’ll be happy to know about Denny’s $2 $4 $6 $8 Value Menu®. Available all day, every day, the menu has 16 different dishes at affordable prices.
I love breakfast at any time of day, so I got the $8 French Toast Slugger, with two slices of French toast, two eggs, bacon or sausage, and hashbrowns or toast. It also includes coffee or a small juice! I must admit I cleared my whole plate…and some of the appetizer in the background!
Melody was along for the ride, and of course got fussy just as the food was served. Luckily my awesome sister-in-law Kadi offered to hold her while we ate. Don’t worry, Mel, you’ll be eating yummy food soon enough!
Another option on the $2 $4 $6 $8 Value Menu® is the $6 Southwest Turkey Sandwich with Cup of Soup. I actually ordered this on a different recent visit to Denny’s. The sandwich (with avocado) was delicious, and the soup (Loaded Baked Potato) was warm and filling. A perfect meal!
Denny’s is open 24 hours, so if you find yourself there with a smaller appetite, the value menu includes options like the $2 Cheese Quesadilla, the $4 All-You-Can-Eat Pancakes, and (if you’re wanting dessert) the $2 Pancake Puppies Sundae.
Just look how happy my other sister-in-law Layla is with her meal! (I may have told her not to “pose” and then posted her “posing” pic…well that’s what she gets for being cute.)
The $2 $4 $6 $8 menu at Denny’s is a great option for a budget-friendly meal, but they also have an outstanding full menu with everything from eggs to salads, sandwiches to full turkey dinners, and many delicious desserts. We also love their kids’ menu (and check to see if your local Denny’s has a “kids eat free” night- ours does Tuesdays and Thursdays!).
So go ahead, enjoy a night out at Denny’s. Treat yourself or treat a whole party. You deserve it!
