Today I’d like to share the progress I’ve seen since incorporating the program from Joel Marion’s new book, Always Eat After 7 PM: The Revolutionary Rule-Breaking Diet That Lets You Enjoy Huge Dinners, Desserts, and Indulgent Snacks—While Burning Fat Overnight.

If you caught my previous posts, you know that I’ve been intermittent fasting on most days and being more vigilant about my protein intake. Prior to reading the book, my weight loss had been stalled for several weeks, which is not something unusual being six months out from gastric sleeve surgery. But I’m happy to report that the scale has started moving in the right direction again!

I hope to lose about 40 more pounds, and I know this program can help me get there.

Joel Marion’s Always Eat After 7 PM program makes dieting easy and eliminates 90% of reasons for resistance.

The most challenging times to curb hunger are just before bed and in the morning. By following the Always Eat After 7 PM program, you have the most willpower to stay on the diet because you are eating during the hours when you are most hungry. This also puts you into both intermittent fasting, increasing testosterone and your metabolism, while putting you into ketosis.

Along with the great advice about what to eat and when, the book includes a comprehensive meal plan that’s easy to follow, as well as tons of delicious recipes!

“Fact is, most diets are extremely narrow with regard to food choices and variety, and many even limit entire macronutrients altogether over the course of the entire program (think low-carb and low-fat diets). Three months with no carbs? No thanks. Such practices not only are entirely unnecessary, but make for a miserable, unsustainable experience.”

There are plenty of yummy-sounding recipes: BBQ Carnitas Lettuce Tacos, Chili-Loaded Baked Potato…

I think the one I’m most excited about is the Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Chicken, because there are only two steps, and then it cooks in the slow cooker all day and will feed my family of six!

And don’t get me started on the desserts. Salted Dark Chocolate-Dipped PB Cookies, Apple Spice Protein Doughnuts…sign me up!
