24 Hours of ME

by Megan

This weekend my husband took the kids to visit his mom for a couple days, so I had some time to myself! I was home without a car, so we made sure I was stocked up on food, and I planned on a day of cleaning, organizing…and eating. I chronicled my time on Instagram, and here are the photos. They go from Saturday evening to Sunday evening. Feel free to check out my Instagram profile for my comments on the photos. But they mostly speak for themselves!

Ended the day with a Google hangout with my husband. See me taking the photo at the bottom?

It was nice to have the day to myself, but I was surprised by how quickly I got lonely! Luckily everyone came home today, and the house already looks like I didn’t clean it at all. …sigh

When was the last time you had a day to yourself? Everyone needs one every once in awhile!

I know what you mean! When my kids are gone I miss them very quickly. I have a week of bed rest coming up right before my twins birth which I am spending at my inlaws. Not sure how I will manage a week without my little troublemakers!

I just had one in mid April on a Saturday – it isn’t quite the same now that my kids are grown and out of the house – but still enjoyable. I sat on the couch, watched old episodes of Psych, played around on the computer and drank coffee. My husband was at an all day leather carving workshop. It was glorious. Glad you got a chance to rest and recharge!
