2013 was a fantastic year for me, my family, and this blog. I’d like to remember each month with a synopsis of what I was doing, my favorite photo, and favorite blog post.
January
In January I was super busy. I was finishing up my long-term sub assignment, teaching high school dance for the whole month. I was also working at my part-time job, for my dad’s company. Carter and Vanessa were both still at home, and I was pregnant!

February
In February I got a little break from teaching. I stayed home with the kiddos during the day and worked my part-time job several afternoons/evenings each week. Carter and Vanessa were both taking gymnastics, and Vanessa had her 2nd birthday party!

March
In March we traveled to California with our show choirs and took home two 1st place trophies! It was a major accomplishment for my husband, as their director, me, as their choreographer, and the kids! I also signed up for another long-term sub assignment in high school Biology!

April was a full month of teaching Biology, as well as working my part-time job. I was also about 6 months pregnant! I attended my first-ever blog conference, the SITS Girls Bloggy Boot Camp!

October
October meant Halloween (Kindergarten party, trick-or-treating, and church trunk-or-treat), and the whole family got dressed up! At the end of the month, Daniel and I celebrated 8 years of marriage.

We got family photos taken in November, and they came out beautifully! We got together with Daniel’s family for Thanksgiving, and though we had fun, everyone came home sick!

December meant all-things Christmas! It was Harrison’s first Christmas, and the kids got spoiled with lots of fun presents. We relaxed a lot over break and prepared for the second semester of school.

So crazy to see how much the kid’s have grown this year!! And to think Mr Harrison was still cooking in your belly when I met you :) Yay for a great year and blessings that 2014 brings even more awesomeness. Love you Megan!
What a busy and wonderful year for y’all! It is so important to look back on the past and remember all the good times and everything we accomplished before moving into a new year. I hope you have a wonderful New years!!
You had a great year! Especially adding little Harrison! And working on all of your goals, keep it up! (And lets keep each other motivated!!)
Thanks! Yes, we need to stay motivated together! You are doing such an awesome job!
I can’t get over how much Vanessa grew this year, it happens so fast. I’m still impressed you moved with a newborn. V was 10 weeks old when we moved and that was hard enough!
I know! I chose that photo because I couldn’t believe how much of a baby she looked like a year ago! She’s a little lady now! I think moving with a newborn might just be easier than moving with a 10 week old, actually. Harry just slept!
I plan to go to Elevate this year! Will you be attending again?
Yes! Can’t wait!
